OnePlus 3/3T smartphone was launched in November 2016. The phone came out of the box with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and later upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo. Now you have the Ground Zero GZOSP 8.0 Oreo For OnePlus 3/3T (oneplus3).
Well, the team behind the popular custom ROM called Tesla,
Tipsy and Validus have finally started a new project known as GZOSP. It is also
known as Ground Zero Open Source Project. This is not any Custom ROM, Ground
Zero Android Oreo repository helps you to build custom ROMs without having to
start from scratch (meaning straight from AOSP)
PRE-REQUISITE
- This
will work on OnePlus 3/3T (Don’t Try this on Any other device):
- Charge
your phone up to 80% or 70%.
- You
will lose the original ROM or any CUSTOM ROM if you already installed on
your phone. So make sure to Backup your phone using TWRP before
doing this step using TWRP or CWM or any Custom Recovery.
- You
must install TWRP or any Custom Recovery on your phone.
- Download
all the Zip files from below and Place it in your phone’s root of internal
memory.

How to install Ground Zero GZOSP for OnePlus 3/3T
Step 1: Connect your OnePlus 3/3T to your
PC using USB cable and copy the downloaded files to the internal
storage of your device. Power off your device and unplug from the
computer.
Step 2: Boot your OnePlus 3/3T to Recovery mode:
press and hold Power, Volume Up and Volume
Down buttons. Release them when you see the Bootloader or Fastboot
menu. Use volume keys to navigate and Power button to select a choice.
Select Bootloader > Recovery.
Step 3: Select Backup and Restore to
perform Nandroid Backup and then go back to the main menu. Next, wipe data
by selecting wipe data/factory reset. Also, wipe cache
partition to perform cache wipe. Finally, Delvik Cache should also be
wiped from Advanced > Wipe Delvik Cache.
Step 4: Now, select Install zip from
sdcard > choose zip from sdcard from the main
recovery menu. Locate the LineageOS Android 8.0 Oreo custom ROM. Select
and confirm.
